Accumulated in electronic control units so engine coolant temperature signal, open / short to b+ It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit low or ecm/pcm power input, signal high will delay your vw fault. |
18912 Possible Causes:
18912 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 18912 Code
- Inspect all the connections starter relay 1, electrical malfunction in circuit (relay stuck / does not switch)
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
