When you open kick down switch, error message from engine contr. mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor throttle/fuel inhibit, circuit high or change diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'a', circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
18905 Possible Causes:
18905 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18905 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'a' primary control, short to plus
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
