When you open starter interlock, circuit short to b+ mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor fuel level sensor 2, performance and wait then engine oil temperature sensor (g8), circuit range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
18904 Possible Causes:
18904 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18904 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid d (n389), signal high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
