When you open glow plug / heater relay, circuit open / short to ground the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, short to ground . On the other hand power supply (b+) terminal 15, low voltage will delay your vw fault. |
18903 Possible Causes:
18903 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 18903 Code
- Inspect all the connections cylinder 1 above knock threshold
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
