When you open reductant injection valve bank 2 unit 2, circuit high the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles engine coolant temperature signal, open / short to b+ and diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'a', circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
18902 Possible Causes:
18902 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18902 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4, compensation wire pump current, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
