18901 Possible Causes:
18901 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18901 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner control, circuit low bank 2
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
