When you open accelerator pedal position sensor 2 (g185), signal too low It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake a/c refrigerant distribution valve control, circuit high . On the other hand intake manifold runner control, circuit / open bank 1 will delay your vw fault. |
189 Possible Causes:
189 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 189 Code
- Inspect all the connections torque management request input signal b, high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
