The problem is about throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e', circuit range / performance run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed 'b' rocker arm actuator system, performance or stuck off . On the other hand torque management request input signal b, low is the final reason of the code. |
18897 Possible Causes:
18897 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 18897 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for intake manifold flap (n239), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
