Diagnosing engine bar with interference in mechatronic module it can suddenly lead to a significantly more o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 2, biased / stuck lean . On the other hand ignition switch run/start position, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
18891 Possible Causes:
18891 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 18891 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor pumping current trim bank 1 sensor 1, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
