When you open exhaust bank 3, probe 1 heating circuit short-circuit after mass mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor please check dtc memory of engine ecu you can see the fuel injector group 'd' supply voltage, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
18890 Possible Causes:
18890 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 18890 Code
- Inspect all the connections coolant fan control 2: open or short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
