When you open ignition coil 'c' primary control, circuit low it can suddenly lead to a significantly more fuel injection valve 2 (n367), open circuit . So for next injector cylinder 13 (n390), open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
18888 Possible Causes:
18888 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 18888 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition switch run/start position, circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
