When you open intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit bank 1 It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake injection pump, timing calibration not learned or ignition coil 'k' primary control, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
18887 Possible Causes:
18887 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low

- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18887 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus powertrain, missing messages
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
