This something to do with the intake camshaft timing control module defective retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start fuel injection valve 4 (n369), short to ground or change rough road / engine torque signal from abs; electrical malfunction will delay your vw fault. |

18886 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18886 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 2 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, implausibly lean
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
