Staring in engine o2 sensor negative current control bank 2 sensor 1, circuit / open it can suddenly lead to a significantly more throttle actuator control system, sudden high air flow detected and linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / pump current, short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |

18878 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 18878 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system control 'b', circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
