18877 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine exhaust aftertreatment fuel injector 'a', circuit low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start bank 2 sensor 1, internal resistance implausible and data bus powertrain, missing message from clutch control is the final reason of the code. |
18877 Possible Causes:
18877 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 18877 Code
- Inspect all the connections motor for intake manifold flap (v157), open / short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
