Staring in engine throttle angle signal stuck on It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake idle speed control throttle position, electrical malfunction or change oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s1, signal shorted to heater circuit is the final reason of the code. |
18870 Possible Causes:
18870 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18870 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 7 (n303), circuit low input
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
