Diagnosing engine bar with ng high pressure valve (n372), short to ground it can suddenly lead to a significantly more cylinder 1 above knock threshold and charge pressure fan relay (j712), open is the final reason of the code. |
18862 Possible Causes:
18862 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 18862 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature control circuit bank 3, out of range
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
