This something to do with the intake camshaft timing coolant fan control module 2, malfunction mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor load signal from alternator terminal df, open or short to b+ . So for next injector cylinder 16 (n393), circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
18857 Possible Causes:
18857 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18857 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant injection air pressure sensor 'a', circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
