18851 Possible Causes:
18851 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 18851 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 3, circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
