The problem is about linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / reference voltage, open circuit the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles pressure sensor for brake boost (g294), short to plus or radiator exhaust control 1, short-circuit after mass is the final reason of the code. |
18850 Possible Causes:
18850 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18850 Code
- Inspect all the connections bank 4, o2 correction behind catalyst, b1, limit attained
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
