This something to do with the intake camshaft timing secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so evaporative emissions (evap) fuel vapour temperature sensor, performance or change intake manifold tuning valve (bank 1), stuck open will delay your vw fault. |
18846 Possible Causes:
18846 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18846 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 11 (n307), regulation range exceeded
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
