The problem is about o2 sensor exhaust sample error bank 2 sensor 1 It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake ecm/pcm power input, signal you can see the actuator supply voltage 'c', circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
18840 Possible Causes:
18840 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18840 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection pump-c-relay (j704), circuit short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
