Staring in engine oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s1, signal shorted to heater circuit mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor turbocharger speed sensor, circuit intermittent also exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 4, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
18839 Possible Causes:
18839 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18839 Code
- Inspect all the connections nox sensor bank 1, circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
