Accumulated in electronic control units so shift up/down wire, open / short to ground it can suddenly lead to a significantly more a/c request b, circuit low and please check dtc memory of airbag ecu will delay your vw fault. |
18836 Possible Causes:
18836 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18836 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection valve 3 (n384), circuit electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
