Diagnosing engine bar with oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s3, signal shorted to heater circuit mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor a/c clutch relay, circuit short to b+ also engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
18831 Possible Causes:
18831 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 18831 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus engine/engine, missing message from ecu 1
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
