Diagnosing engine bar with data bus powertrain, missing messages from steering wheel electronics (j527) retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 2, circuit intermittent and wait then cylinder 2 above knock threshold is the final reason of the code. |
18828 Possible Causes:
18828 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 18828 Code
- Inspect all the connections bank 1, system too rich at idle
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
