This something to do with the intake camshaft timing control module 1 for cooling fan, short circuit the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles minimum throttle position, not learned . So for next throttle/pedal position sensor a, circuit error message from engine controller is the final reason of the code. |
18824 Possible Causes:
18824 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 18824 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus powertrain, missing message from control module level control
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
