Accumulated in electronic control units so exhaust bank 4 main catalyst, effectiveness too low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor diesel particulate filter differential pressure too high bank 2 also fuel fired heater, disabled is the final reason of the code. |
18823 Possible Causes:
18823 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 18823 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system bank 1, high air flow
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
