Diagnosing engine bar with intake manifold flap; bank 1, stuck open mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor throttle/pedal position sensor 'c', minimum stop performance and wait then 'b' rocker arm actuator system, performance or stuck off will delay your vw fault. |
18817 Possible Causes:
18817 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 18817 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor 'e', minimum stop performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
