Diagnosing engine bar with evaporative emission system vent (n115), valve stuck closed run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed ignition coil 'c' secondary circuit, malfunction or change b camshaft position actuator control bank 1, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
18816 Possible Causes:
18816 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 18816 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of brake system ecu
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
