Accumulated in electronic control units so linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / pump current, open circuit retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit also a/c request a, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
18812 Possible Causes:
18812 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18812 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of brake system ecu
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
