18805 Possible Causes:
18805 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18805 Code
- Inspect all the connections accelerator pedal position sensor 1 (g79), signal too high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
