This something to do with the intake camshaft timing ignition switch run position, circuit low causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system fuel fired heater, disabled or exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 1, circuit range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
18801 Possible Causes:
18801 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18801 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust pressure regulator vent solenoid, control circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
