This code were stamped on VW Engine case linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / common ground wire, open circuit causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system water in fuel sensor, circuit also reductant injection valve bank 2 unit 1, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
188 Possible Causes:
188 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
