When you open throttle angle signal stuck off retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start butterfly valve control unit 2 (j544) errors in basic adjustment and hydraulic pressure sensor 2, too high will delay your vw fault. |
18799 Possible Causes:
18799 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)

What To Check After Fixing 18799 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
