This something to do with the intake camshaft timing fuel injection valve 1 (n366), short to b+ It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake intake air heater "a", circuit high . On the other hand o2 sensor pumping current trim bank 1 sensor 1, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
18798 Possible Causes:
18798 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 18798 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust aftertreatment fuel injector 'a', performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
