This code were stamped on VW Engine case intake manifold runner control, basic setting not completed it can suddenly lead to a significantly more potentiometer 2 for egr (g466), incorrect basic setting . On the other hand valve for exhaust flap 2 (n322), open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
18793 Possible Causes:
18793 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18793 Code
- Inspect all the connections ecm/pcm power relay sense, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
