This something to do with the intake camshaft timing b camshaft position actuator control bank 2, circuit low the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles electronic control module incorrect coding and a/c refrigerant pressure sensor 'b', circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
18789 Possible Causes:
18789 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 18789 Code
- Inspect all the connections a/c refrigerant distribution valve control, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
