The problem is about injection pump, fuel calibration not learned run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed relays for coolant additive pump (j496), short to b+ and wait then valve for coolant system circuit, high is the final reason of the code. |
18789 Possible Causes:
18789 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 18789 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection valve 3 (n384), circuit open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
