Staring in engine please check dtc memory of brake system ecu mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor bank 2, exhaust cam wave position sensor (g301) / crankshaft position sensor (g28), wrong allocation or change exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
18781 Possible Causes:
18781 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18781 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil cylinder 16, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
