Diameter in engine oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, heater return coupling it can suddenly lead to a significantly more data-bus powertrain, missing message from engine controller (ecu) and a/c refrigerant pressure sensor 'b', circuit will delay your vw fault. |

18742 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off

What To Check After Fixing 18742 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust pressure regulator vent solenoid, control circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
