When you open water in fuel sensor, circuit range / performance It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit high and automatic glow time control module 2 (j609), circuit electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
18714 Possible Causes:
18714 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 18714 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 2, biased / stuck rich
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
