Staring in engine post catalyst fuel trim system, high limit mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor relays for small amount of heat (j359), disconnected or short to ground or change secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
18713 Possible Causes:
18713 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18713 Code
- Inspect all the connections direct ozone reduction catalyst temperature sensor, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
