This something to do with the intake camshaft timing fuel pressure regulator valve (n276), mechanical malfunction retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start hydraulic actuator position sender (g302), implausible signal you can see the 'a' rocker arm actuator system, performance or stuck off will delay your vw fault. |
18703 Possible Causes:
18703 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18703 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b4 s1, heater return coupling
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
