VW Code 18700
18700 Description And Summary : |
---|
This code were stamped on VW Engine case data-bus powertrain, missing message from level control module (j197) to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so actuator supply voltage "b", circuit low . So for next temperature sensors for drive cycle radiator exhaust (g382), signal too small is the final reason of the code. |
18700 Possible Causes:
18700 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18700 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector control pressure, too high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
