This something to do with the intake camshaft timing injector control pressure regulator, circuit high It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake camshaft adjustment oil temperature sensor (g277), open or short to ground and wait then sensor 1 for hydraulic pressure in transmission, open or short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |

What To Check After Fixing 18696 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil cylinder 14, low circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
