This something to do with the intake camshaft timing intake manifold runner bank 1, high temperature causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system control module 2 for cooling fan, short circuit . On the other hand diesel particulate filter regeneration frequency will delay your vw fault. |
18695 Possible Causes:
18695 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 18695 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel injector group 'd' supply voltage, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
