When you open intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit intermittent bank 2 the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles a/c request a, circuit and wait then engine coolant level sensor / switch, circuit is the final reason of the code. |
18693 Possible Causes:
18693 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 18693 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of transmission ecu
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
