Diameter in engine ignition switch accessory position, circuit high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start please check dtc memory of steering electronics (j527) and wait then reductant injection air pressure sensor 'a', circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
18693 Possible Causes:
18693 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18693 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3, compensation wire pump current, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
