The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault evaporative emissions (evap) fuel vapour temperature sensor, circuit retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start charge pressure fan relay (j712), short to b+ you can see the transmission mount valve 1 (n262), short to plus will delay your vw fault. |

18679 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 18679 Code
- Inspect all the connections potentiometer 2 for egr (g466), signal too low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
