Staring in engine turbocharger control module 1, missing message causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system fuel tank pressure (ftp) sensor (g400), open circuit or cylinder 9 above knock threshold is the final reason of the code. |
18669 Possible Causes:
18669 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 18669 Code
- Inspect all the connections evaporative emission system switching valve control, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
