When you open control module 2 for cooling fan, short circuit retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start cylinder 8 above knock threshold and intake manifold runner control, circuit low bank 1 is the final reason of the code. |
18664 Possible Causes:
18664 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 18664 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for electrical fuel pump 2 (j49), interruption/short-circuit after mass
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
